We invite you to join our
May Day Celebration
on bank holiday Monday.
We are pleased to announce our May Day event will be returning for 2023 and will be even bigger this year.
The event includes maypole dancing, live music, a craft fair, activities for the whole family, outdoor bar and food stands and much more!
We hope the whole family will be able to join us between 10am - 4pm.
During the event everyone is welcome to join in with our maypole dancing, for free, led by Taunton Deane Morris Men.
Why not join us for a sensory storytelling in our Oak Vat? Take your little one on an adventure with a brilliant book brought to life using interactive storytelling, sensory props, messy play and much more! Tickets available in advance - £1 per child (1 adult per child - please purchase multiple tickets if more than one adult would like to attend).
Take part in one of our flower wand workshops to create a memento from your day. Each participant will create a wand with ribbons and fresh flowers in this special event taking place in our traditional farm kitchen in the museum. Tickets available in advance - £6 per person.
Be sure to visit the archery, doggy photo booth, inflatables and outdoor games in the kid's activity area before enjoying a freshly baked sausage roll or chilled cider from one of our outdoor bar and food stands. You might even be able to spot Rapunzel running around with her frying pan!
Children's Activity Trail around our orchards, find the answers to our nature quiz. Trails can be bought on the day from the Sheppy's information stand outside the main House of Cider doors. Tickets available in advance - £3 per person. If you pre order a trail and children's lunch box together save £1.00.
