Real cider takes time.
200 years.

We are one of the oldest premium craft cider making families in the world with a history that goes back more than 200 years. Today, under the watchful eye of David Sheppy, our sixth generation Master of Cider, we continue to champion the same methods used two centuries ago, blending our rare traditional crafting skills with the very best modern technology to create our acclaimed range of the finest award winning ciders.

Our range of craft ciders

Every drop of our cider is crafted by David Sheppy, our sixth generation Master of Cider. David combines world class expertise accumulated from a lifetime of crafting cider with his family's 200 years of knowledge. He oversees the production of every drop, transforming our home-grown apples into the finest award winning premium ciders. Every bottle carries his signature as a mark of quality and provenance.

Sheppy's Craft Ciders

For over 200 years the skill and craftsmanship of classic Somerset cider-making has been passed down through six generations of Sheppys.

Apple Bay Bar & Restaurant

The Apple Bay bar occupies the space we once used to hold harvested apples during our pressing season. Over time we outgrew the old bays, which has been sympathetically converted into an atmospheric bar where our customers can relax and enjoy a glass of hand-crafted cider within the old board walls of the apple bay.
