Celebrate harvest and National Apple Day with Sheppy's and Blue Shed Flowers by creating your own Harvest Wreath.
During the workshop you will make a sustainable and fully compostable wreath with local flower grower and florist Jan, of Blue Shed Flowers. You will use willow from the farm to make a natural base along with a diverse range of foraged materials from hedgerows and gardens including apples to create your wreath.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a willow base and adorn it with garden gathered and foraged materials both fresh and dried. There'll be an emphasis on individual creativity and the enjoyment of working with natural materials, as well as learning some of the techniques and approaches that you can apply to a range of floristry projects.
All guests will be greeted with a glass of winter spiced cider and will take home a unique wreath to adorn your door or harvest table.
