Booking is essential 

For an afternoon tea we Require 48 Hours Notice, as everything is baked fresh for each booking. 

We accept reservations for groups of nearly any size. If your group exceeds eight people, please call the restaurant at 01823 461233 Option 2 or email us at restaurant@sheppyscider.com to secure your reservation. Walk-ins are always welcome!

Due to the unpredictable British weather, we do not accept reservations for outdoor tables. Once your reservation is confirmed, it is guaranteed. We will strive to honour your specific table request, but on rare occasions when a change is necessary, we will discuss it with you before your arrival.

If we cannot meet your booking needs, please reach out to the restaurant directly, and we will do our utmost to assist you. We only permit assistance dogs inside the House of Cider; however, Well behaved dogs are allowed in our café area, there is also outdoor seating where you are able to sit with your dogs.

Monday - Friday and Sundays 10am - 11:30am

Saturday 9am - 11:30am

Lunch: Monday - Sunday 12pm - 3pm

Afternoon Tea:

1st June - 22nd December Monday - Saturday 3pm - 4pm

N.B For special occasions we require a non-refundable deposit per person which will be deducted from your final bill.

Stripe Pre-authorisation Charge
When taking credit card details, either through the online booking, or within the e-Res software, Stripe may attempt to pre-authorise the card with a £1 charge.
This will be refunded to the card instantly and, in many cases, will not even show on the card-holders statement.
We have no control over this process as it is part of the Stripe fraud protection.
