We held my mum's funeral reception here just last week. Cannot praise it enough. We had nearly 50 people and chose the stable room along with their finger buffet, which turned out to be absolutely perfect for hosting everyone after the funeral service. What could have been a difficult day, turned into the happiest occasion with all of the stress taken away from us. The staff were so wonderful to deal with and the food was fantastic and plenty for all of us. We were particularly keen to choose somewhere with access to a bar, and Sheppy's fit the bill perfectly, alongside providing unlimited tea and coffee. parking was super easy and we ended up actually enjoying the afternoon thanks to them. We truly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for the day and would recommend this as a venue.

We held my mother in law's wake here and can't praise everything and everyo0ne enough. The staff are all really friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was plentiful and delicious. The farm shop sells fantastic produce especially the cheese!! We will be back for lunch.
