Dad-of-two Stephen Ellis, 57, has spent months recovering but is now doing well and determined to make most of his “second chance at life”.
He is currently walking all the way from John O’Groats to Lands End to raise money that will help others who suffer strokes.
It is a staggering 1,200 mile challenge, and his partner is not expecting him home until August.
Stephen popped in for a well deserved rest, one of our famous pasty and a chilled cider to help him carry on his walk. He had a lovely cider tasting with Rossy and then enjoyed his favourite Dabinett cider in the sunshine.
